2. Office Building Twin Overview
There are a lot of office buildings in the world, and the ability to visualize and manage them is a growing industry. As a reference implementation of our Digital Twins / Omniverse integration, we developed an Office Building Twin demo that you can setup to understand how digital twins are built. This demo shows how to create/implement a custom behavior by visualizing the temperature of each room by changing the color of the light in each room.
3. Create Your Office Building Digital Twin
Once your Azure infrastructure is setup, you can upload your DTDL models and create Digital Twin instances and relationships from your models. Your DTDL model defines the types of objects that comprise your digital twins and how they related to each other. Digital twin instances are created from your models, and relationships are established. The Azure Digital Twins Explorer lets you create and visualize digital twins from your DTDL models.
4. Visualize your Digital Twin in a Unity 3D Scene
Now you can visualize your functioning Digital Twin in a 3D visual scene. What kind of data do you want to see? How will the data updates affect the visual? These are the parts we'll work to define in this lesson utilizing Unity.
